Guidance Center of Lea County was first established in 1971 as a Crisis Line in a small house on Dal Paso Street in Hobbs, New Mexico. Over fifty years later, Guidance Center has grown to offer 26 unique behavioral health services throughout Southeastern New Mexico.

Introducing our new CEO

We are thrilled to introduce Nichole Chambers, LCSW, as the new CEO of Guidance Center of Lea County, Inc.

With a distinguished career in clinical services management and a passion for community engagement, Ms. Chambers brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach to her new role.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from New Mexico State University and a Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University, showcasing her robust educational background and ensuring her qualifications and expertise.

Her leadership has been instrumental in securing substantial funding for youth services and integrating innovative practices like virtual reality-based therapy.
